Marsha's Musings: Believing God's Promises (Hebrews 11:22 NKJV)

By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones. (Hebrews 11:22 NKJV)

Joseph, even though he did not see the children of Israel leave Egypt or get to see the promised land, he believed God' promises to be true and requested that his remains be carried out with them when they went.  

I remember a childhood song, well actually, I only remember two lines.  It was, "Faith is just believing what God said He will do. Faith is just believing His promises are true." This is the faith of Joseph and all the saints of old. Is it my faith too?
