Marsha's Musings: Cleaning House/Treatment of Unbelievers

I took some time today to clean up in the basement.  Sarah, a few weeks ago had done some organizing for me in the basement at one end.  It looked so nice.  Today I worked on the middle of the basement (the other end already looks pretty good).  I'm happy with the result.  It is much less cluttered.

But now I have a problem.  In her spree of orgainizing, she dumped a whole pile, and I mean a pile, of stuff in the basement bedroom for me to figure out what to do with.  So now I have a huge mess in there to deal with.  LOL!  But I am grateful for all her work in the main basement area.  It looks so nice I hate to do anything in there to mess it up!

I don't know, maybe I need to just take the whole pile and pitch it...hate to do that.  There are some nice toys my nieces and nephews might like to have.  I think I will gift a few things from the pile.

Daily Quiet Time:

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. (Colossians 4:5, 6 KJV)

Here we are given instructions on how we are to conduct ourselves among unbelievers.

1.  We are to use wisdom in our dealings with them
2. We are to redeem the time~use our time wisely in regard to them
3. We are to use grace in our speech
4. We are to season what we say with "salt".  Salt makes a person want more and so we are to speak with them in such a way that they will want to hear more of what we have to say.
5. Back to the top, we need to use wisdom, why?  So that we will know how to answer each person.
