Marsha's Musings: The Perfect GTD System & The Perfect Man/God

Seems like every day I say, "I really need to go to bed earlier tonight." But I never seem to make it. Last night the kids started eating snacks at 10pm and the smell of it made me so hungry I had to have a snack too. So I didn't get my light off until 11pm again. 4:30 comes mighty early. I REALLY need to go to bed earlier!

Had a productive day yesterday. Worked for an hour or more outside on my landscaping project. It's slow, but if I keep at it, I will make progress! I wish I could find a source for bulk cheap cornmeal. Cornmeal is a non-toxic way to keep weeds down. It does not kill established weeds but once you have pulled the weeds out by the roots, if you sprinkle corn meal over the area it will keep new seeds from germinating. You don't want to use cornmeal where you plan to plant anything by seed, because it will keep everything from germinating. But you can use cornmeal around established plants.

I'm so excited! I've been searching for a task manager app that would sync online so I would have a useable backup in case of an iPod failure or loss. I finally found what I needed! It's Google's GoTask app and it syncs with the task list on Google Calendar. It's perfect for my needs. Now I have peace of mind that if I lose my iPod or it quits working that I will not have totally lost my brain. What's more I learned that times and dates typed into the notes section link and will open the iPod calendar to set up events/appointments and address info in the notes section also links and will open Google maps on my iPod. I can also email tasks that I want to delegate to other people!

My Quiet Time

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9 KJV)

What better verse to point to when you encounter those who want to deny the deity of Jesus Christ! He was and is God incarnate! God with us. Immanuel!

As a human he was subject to all the frailties that we are, and so understands the human condition and can sympathize with our weaknesses. As God He has the power to save to the uttermost, those who come to Him. This is powerful! He was and is the Perfect Man/God.
