2Corinthians 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Thanksgiving Day is a great day to remember all that we have to be thankful for.
This is one of the first Thanksgiving Days that my family has stayed at home for the holiday instead of traveling to my parent's and having dinner at my sisters.
It wasn't our original plan. But my husband has had a nasty cold for almost two weeks now and for him, traveling would wear him down further when he needs to rest so he can feel better when it's time to go back to work. Also the snow and ice makes travel questionable.
So, we are staying home and making the best of it here. The kids figured out that we can get the Macy's Parade on our little portable TV. It doesn't come in great but enough so they can enjoy it.
The turkey is in the oven and we hope to eat between noon and 1pm. Later we might go up to the fair grounds and take in the Festival of Trees.
Tomorrow the kids are hoping to join the mayhem of Black Friday at the "mall". I put that in quotes because our mall consists of about six businesses including a coffee shop and A&W.
I pray that you will have a blessed holiday season. We have so much to be thankful for and most of all....we have the Son, the Father and the Holy Spirit....all of them mentioned in the verse above. We have the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
God bless you all this day!
