What a great Sunday day today was. We had a couple visiting who are hoping to buy a house and move to the area and attend our church. We had a family visiting who comes from about 2 hours away and they hope to visit regularly for several weeks, at least until it gets too dark or too bad for them to drive it. They have two kids the same ages as ours and are just a wonderful family. And then we had our friends, the Radebaugh's from Dayton, an hour and a half away.
With all the extra people at church, the hymn singing was especially good. We sang "For All the Saints" and boy was that majestic!
After church we were invited to join the two families that have kids over at our pastor's home for lunch. The kids loved the social time. We adults enjoyed ourselves as well. It was such a good time of fellowship.
I didn't know that all that visiting could wear a person out so much though. I came home and flopped on the couch, just tired out from the day. But at least it's a good tired feeling.
