Yesterday, somehow, I wiped off my CF card on my pocket PC which holds the Bibles and other accessories for my e-Sword. What a disappointment!
Last night I lost a bit of sleep over it, trying to restall it all. What a struggle that was! It was no easy feat. I uninstalled and reinstalled no less than three times over. Then trying to get the modules to go into the right folder turned out to be impossible. I moved things around several times in order to put them in the bigger storage card, but for some reason it did not want to cooperate.
Finally my pocket PC rebelled and wouldn't let me even move my own folders around between cards. It said access was denied and that I needed permission to do that! I felt like a child trying put my hand in the cookie jar for, Pete's sake! That's bad when your electronic devices are bossing you around.
I ended up letting it have its own way and installed the stuff where it wanted to install it. I now have my e-Sword back and that is what I wanted. I am debating about trying to add one last thing...either Hoestra's daily devotionals or Spurgeon's Morning and Evening. I had both of those before, but since this time I put in Adam Clarke's commentary, I don't have room for both of these. But after all the trouble I had last night, I am wondering if I would be well enough to just stop while I am ahead.
