A Busy Day

This has been a fun busy day at my parent's house.  I went grocery shopping with my mom in the morning.  After lunch, the kids and I went out and pulled weeds for my dad.
Later we all went to Starbucks for coffee treats.  The kids and I walked back to my parents while the others took the cars.  At Starbucks, S got the manager to open the dessert case so she could take some photos of the desserts.  He seemed excited about that since he is a photographer too.
We enjoyed looking at the landscaping and yard decorations people have in this mobile home park.  It's really very creative and very nice.
My dad and I attended a Tea Party Freedom Rally at the local courthouse.  It was an extremely well organized, orderly crowd and program.  It was not anything like the media has tried to characterize the Tea Party movement.  I was impressed.
This evening I have been doing some research on the internet on Brain Integration Therapy.  I ordered a manual by that name this afternoon.  I'm hoping it will be helpful in correcting some learning challenges of my youngest.
Tomorrow we head for home right after lunch.  It will be good to be home again in one sense, but in another sense it means WORK and more WORK for me.  I've enjoyed not having much work to do although I have done some on this trip...fixing meals, helping my mom in the kitchen, pulling weeds etc.  But that is work I wanted to do.  At home it's work I HAVE to do. Somehow there seems to be a difference.
It has been a fun, busy vacation.  I've enjoyed getting away.  Now back to the daily grind.
