I took my daughter out to the fair grounds to collect her entries and ribbons. She was pleasantly surprised. She earned her first photography trophy! She earned several Top of Class Ribbons, a Creativity ribbon and a whole slew of blue ribbons. We are pretty happy with how well she did. Being a border town, we have the added advantage that we can also enter in the fair across the river in the Fall. So most if not all of the items she prepared to enter in our county’s fair will also be entered in the fair across the river in the Fall. It will be fun to see how she comes out over there compared to our local one.
