This is pointed. There are those, who in the name of religion, whether it be Islam, Christianity, Roman Catholic, Mormon, whatever it is, commit acts of hate or violence toward others. They don't need to commit outward acts of violence. It can simply be hate for another in their heart. The point is clear here that they are not one of God's children and they do not know God.
Our marching orders are clear. Love one another: for love is of God. However, does that mean we blindly go along with the sin of others? Is it unloving to point out what Scripture says to one who is in disobedience or error regarding it? No! They may not appreciate it, but it is our duty to do it in a kind and loving manner.
