Marsha's Musings: Warned of Things Not Seen (Hebrews 11:7 NKJV)

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. (Hebrews 11:7 NKJV)

I see, in this, a picture of the Christian's job.  We have been warned in the Bible of things not yet seen, namely, judgement to come.  Noah was also warned of judgement to come.  

Noah moved with godly fear to prepare an ark to save his family while others no doubt taunted him even as his actions were a warning to them. 

As Christians we  should be moved with godly fear to prepare our families and warn others of God's judgement to come and show them how they can be saved through Jesus' work on the cross.
