Marsha's Musings: We Have a High Priest, Jesus (Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV)

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV)

This is one of my favorite passages of Scripture.  Jesus, our High Priest sympathizes with our weaknesses!  He knows we are not perfect.  He knows that we fail.  He knows that we are frail.

Because of this, we can come boldly to Him for mercy and grace in our times of need.  What more can I say?  These verses say it all and so much more eloquently than I can.
