Marsha's Musings: Employee Guidelines (Titus 2:9, 10 NKJV)

Exhort bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. (Titus 2:9, 10 NKJV)

Since slavery is not part of our culture, I think it would be fair to apply these things to the employee/employer relationship.

Employees are to be...

1. Obedient to the requests of their
     employer
2. Seek to be pleasing in all things on the
     job
3. Not sassy
4. Not stealing employer's or business
     supplies for personal use
5. Be faithful to the employer/job

Why?  Because the reputation of Biblical doctrine and God is at stake.  How we act on our job and toward our employer reflects either positively or negatively on what we say we believe about God and the Bible.
