This you know, that all those in Asia have turned away from me, among whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes. If your pastor was writing this, where would he plug your name in?
Of course, this is assuming your pastor is preaching straight from the Word of God with no personal agendas that would cause him to twist it to fit his ends. In this case you best turn away from him!
