Rick and I have been going down to the river lately in the evenings and sitting on the floating docks until the sun sets and all the pleasure boaters have come in and the fishermen start going out. It's relaxing and fun to feel the dock rock with the waves, listen to the sounds around us and watch the activity of the birds and other animals in or near the water.
It only takes a minute to drive down the hill to the river. We are blessed to be so close to it. Would walk it if it weren't for having to climb "death hill" to get back home!
