Marsha's Musings: Cooler Days

The cooler temperatures this morning are welcome relief from the heat of the summer!

By looking at the color of the sun that was shining this morning, however, I see there must be a lot of smoke in the air.

The Incendiary Creek Fire has been burning for over a week now near Weipe and Kamiah.  It is threatening the home and ranch of people we know.  Prayers would be appreciated for them and the fire fighters on this fire. I imagine the smoke in the air could be from that fire as well as from others that are being fought around the area.

Last night I must have eaten something that spiked my blood pressure.  I felt a sudden rise almost like an adrenalin rush and my blood pressure was 144/87!  This morning when I woke I checked it and it was 109/66.  I will keep a close watch on it throughout the day for the next several days.  If this becomes a pattern I'll need to get it checked out.

It is time for me to get dressed and go take advantage of this cooler weather for a bit and work on some yard work.
