Marsha's Musings: Trip to Walla Walla

Today we left around 8:30am and headed over to Walla Walla to visit my parents and celebrate my mom's birthday (a day late).

I packed lunch along with us and fixed them lunch while there.  We had hamburgers, green beans (she made), potato chips, strawberries, salad, brownies, and ice cream.

At 1:30 my dad had a dr. appt., so while they went to that, I took Nathaniel to the DOL and he got his driver's permit.

We were disappointed to hear that he will have to take his driver's test either in Pullman or Walla Walla  because they stopped offering the tests here locally. :-(

We had Sarah drive from Dayton into Walla Walla and from Walla Walla back to Dayton so she could get practice on a short freeway and in strange territory of other towns.  She did real well.

We enjoyed the day.  It's been a good one.  I am really tired and ready to hit the hay early`
