My Quiet Time

And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers. (1 Thessalonians 2:13 ESV)

I've heard people say, "The Bible is just a collection of men's writings. Nothing more!"

Paul says it is at work in believers.  Here in lies the difference between the unbeliever's perspective and the beleiver's perspective of the Bible.

To the one, it is just another book. To the other, it is active, working in their hearts, changing them day by day.
