I stayed home from church today. I'm still fighting the bug I caught this week. I watched a church service online. I posted about that on my Facebook page.
It was good to rest. I need that. I did accomplish one thing today that has been on my list for a long time. I got the photos that came in Christmas greetings all put into a scrapbook now. That is one big project off my desk now. I won't have to push that album around my desk anymore.
Not sure why it is, but I tend to work on my scrapbooks the most when I am either sick or injured and stuck on the couch for long periods.
This afternoon I've been serenaded by the sound of the Super Bowl. I love the sound of the crowds roaring. I don't know, maybe it brings back fond memories of younger days but I just enjoy that noise on a lazy afternoon.
Well, if we are lucky, they are going to give us a few days break from construction work this week. I would like that. As much as I'd like to see this mess finished, right now I am tired and need a break.
S got her first assignments for her classes from AAU. She going to be one busy girl. 18 ad campaign drawings due by Friday midnight. I guess they want to give the kids a flavor for what it's like to be in a career of advertising art and working with deadlines.
That about wraps up things for today.
