Remodel update 2/8

I posted on my Facebook page about the water leak from the toilet we discovered last night while painting. 

 

It was an easy fix. Our contractor came out this morning and seems to have fixed.  It doesn't appear that any damage to the floor was sustained and we have kept a fan blowing over the area since last night.  Hopefully it will be compleletly dry by the time they install the cove around the bottom of the wall at the floor.

 

Our contractor installed the timer switch for the fan.  That will be really nice.  We can program it to come on when we usually shower and at other times of the day as well.  That will cut down on moisture and help prevent mold and meldew.

 

Tonight the other guy is supposed to drop by and re-caulk a couple spots in the surround, we need to touch up a few places with paint, take off the painter's tape,hang the shower curtain and we're ready to move into the upstairs bath and get started down stairs.
