Here's the whole purpose for why Christ came & died

1Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.


What are some of the reasons people say Christ came to earth?

1. to be an example for us to follow
2. to be a teacher of good things
3. to be a prophet
4. to show the way back to Heavenly Father
5. to start a new religion
6. the list goes on....add your own __________________

Some of these are good answers and some of them are heresy.  But no matter what anybody tells you, the main reason and purpose Jesus Christ came was to save sinners.  I never thought of this before, but if you don't believe you are a sinner, then Jesus didn't come to save you, because He came to save sinners. You have to be a sinner to qualify for salvation through Jesus Christ.
