God is faithful. None of these things move me...that I might finish my race with joy...and testify to the gospel of the grace of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 12:9; Acts 20:24 Coram Deo~Living Before the Face of God

Sermon Notes: Wisdom & Time
Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, so that we may bring a heart of wisdom.
Why is time precious?
1. Time is running out
2. No knows how much time they have
3. Time spent can never be recovered.
4. Where you spend eternity depends on how you use your time
How do we abuse & misuse our time?
1. We abuse our time when we do not recognize the preciousness of it.
2. Idleness. Tomorrow is the sluggard's working day. A difference between rest & idleness. Prov. 31 woman...does not eat the bread of idleness.
3. When we spend our time moving further from away from God, not closer to Him. We were created to glorify God and honor Him.
Can I do this activity to God's glory?
Does this activity bring me closer to or further from God?
How can we use our time wisely?
1. Learn from the past.
2. Spend as much time as you can using the means God has ordained for growing in grace.
3.Let us consider the value people have of time that now have no more of it, those souls that have perished in their own sins.
They laughed or scoffed at the Gospel and thought they had plenty of time later to repent and come to God.
