I was diagnosed with three ovarian cysts and a fibroid tumor in the last couple of weeks. I was having extreme pain at certain times of the month and that is what sent me to the doctor.
My doctor is not a fan of hysterectomies and told me his goal is "to get me through life with all of my equipment in tact". I appreciate that a lot. He offered narcotic pain medication to help me over the tough spots and says it should all get better once I get to menopause.
I took it one step further and did some research. Many women have had great success getting rid of ovarian cysts by drinking beet juice mixed with molasses and aloe vera juice twice daily. The recipe is the juice of 2lbs of beets, mixed with 12 oz of molasses. You drink a shot glass of this mixed with 2 tblsps aloe vera juice morning and night for several months. I have decided to do this.
As to the fibroid, 6 Tbsp of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar a day, limit red meat and dairy products and refined products. This is a little harder for me since my diet is already limited due to gluten intolerance and dairy intolerance. But I am making an attempt at it.
I am currently in physical therapy and have been for little over a month now for tendonitis in my left arm. It seems to be a stubborn case as it was two years ago. Yesterday, my therapist decided to use a treatment that involved medication. It's two electrode pads, one with the medication on it that are attached to my arm. Then what appears to look like miniature jumper cables are attached to the "terminals" on the patches and run to a battery that is then programed for a certain amount of power and time. The electrical circuit forces the medication into the skin and muscle. The whole process takes a little more than 20 minutes. It stings a bit due to the electrical circuit going through. But it is tolerable.
Today, I do feel that there is some improvement in my arm. I was able to do a bit more of the exercise with the weights that had been giving me such trouble before. I am taking it very slowly though and not pushing it much.
I am also dealing with a case of costocondritis in one of my upper right ribs. This is a situation where for some reason, unknown, the cartilage that attaches the rib to the sternum becomes torn and inflamed. My therapist says it usually happens as a result of trauma to the rib cage. But in my case it just happens for no real good reason. It hurts to take a really deep breath, sneeze, bending over to pick things up etc. It helps if I know an action will hurt, if I can put pressure on the area, to support it. It's not unlike having a broken rib.
My life seems to be somewhat limited by pain. It is my companion. But God is faithful. He has a purpose for my pain and He will accomplish His purposes in my life with it.
