A Command to Obey:
Psalm 150:6 Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
How Does this Apply to My Life?
The last few Psalms center around giving praise to God and focusing on His greatness. I see in the Children of Israel God's displeasure with their complaining. Complaining is the opposite of praise and thanksgiving. How much time do I spend complaining in comparison to giving God praise and thanksgiving? Ouch.
My Prayer:
Lord, I must confess that I am better at complaining than I am at thanksgiving and praise. I've got a stiff neck and headache today. Please help me to not complain but rather find things to be thankful for.
