Should parents be certified to homeschool their children?

I was amused at the two experts they quoted on this issue. The person who is for teacher certification for homeschooling parents had nothing but his opinion to back himself up with, while the person against teacher certification for homeschooling parents had studies, and statistics to back up his claims. My family and I are reading through the "Fallacy Detective" and I read the opinions of the people in the side bar, for and against and asked the kids to see if they could detect the fallacies in the opinions. They could easily see the ones in all of the people for teacher certification for homeschooling parents. Of the three opinions against, one had a fallacy, but the other two did not. Read them and see if you can find the faults in logic in these opinions.
