Marsha's Musings: That Was Easy or Was It?

I'm bushed.  Stayed up too late last night watching Dr. Who with the family.  

Got up this morning, saw Sarah off to work, then took Nathaniel to his lawn mowing job.

While he was mowing, I went to Safeway and Walgreens to do two survey assignments.  The Lord has blessed me this week with a number of assignments and I have made almost $40 spending money as I have been running errands around town.  

I went over to Staples to take advantage of some sale items and get a new headset for our remote phone.  I was disappointed to find that it's so hard to find stuff in their store.  I spent a lot of time going in circles trying to find their sale items and finally decided that "This is not Easy".  I gave up on a few items, saying to myself that if they can't make it any easier to find than that, then I don't need it.

I got home and tried out the new headset only to discover it acts just like the one we had...cuts out on you as you move around with the phone.  So I've come to the conclusion it is not the headset we need to replace but the entire phone.  They don't come cheap anymore.  They have doubled in price since we bought this one.  Ugh.

I enjoyed a tea date with my friend Karen at Starbucks this afternoon.  Great time visiting.

Came home and made dinner soon after, then began work on my menus for next week so I could get a shopping list together for tomorrow morning.  I don't want to shop in the heat and crowds, so had to get it done.

Sarah headed off to Zach's house for the rest of the evening, and the rest of us plan to hit the sack at a decent hour.
