We arrived here at the Quality Inn around 4pm. At 5pm we went to MaCullen's for dinner.
I know it doesn't look that appetizing in the photos, but it was delicious! I felt like I was going to be waddling out when we finished!
Our waiter was very patient with us as we had to have him run to the kitchen several times to check on garlic or gluten ingredients to be sure we got a meal we could eat without repercussions.
After dinner we made a quick stop at Costco. We both had a craving for Cozy Shack Tapioca pudding, but alas, they did not have any. So we headed back to the motel.
We enjoyed some time in the jacuzzi tub. That was so nice for me anyway...Rick got too hot and felt claustrophobic so he got out after a short time.
After he got out he heard my ipod notifying me that I had a message and he looked at it. It was a friend saying she saw a Facebook post that he was in the hospital! She wanted to know where so they could come. They called our kids at home to find out more information as well!! Apparently, she read my blog post about our last 30 years and I had mentioned a list of the bad and the good that we had gone through in the last 30 years, but she misread it and thought it was present stuff happening now. We had a good laugh. Can't fault them for being friends and being concerned!
Later we went and got a buy one get one free drink. We chose non-alcholic. Just not into the other.
Had a fairly good night of sleep. This morning we got a free breakfast on the house. It was very good.
It was a quiet, restful breakfast with a great view of the river and hills. It is very peaceful here this morning. Almost time to leave this wonderful 30th Anniversary retreat. So fun.
