Erythema Nodosum is what it's called. That is basically Latin for red lump. Brilliant, huh? Don't you just love medical terminology? They can make it sound so menacing but the translation is laughable.

I kept getting woke up in the night the other night because every time I put any pressure from my other leg or against the bed the soreness from this would wake me up.
I had one of these lumps a couple years ago that suddenly showed up one day on my shin. I went to the dr and that was the diagnosis. He said it would happen again, so two years later, it is.
For me, there is no explanation for it. It's just one of those weird things that happens to me. Just glad to know it will go away in two to six weeks. I can handle that.
