My friend who lives just around the corner from here sent me this photo this morning. I used to live in Mt. Vernon, so this place is very familiar to me. I guess the fire started this morning. Her daughter who is Pullman, WA (8 hour drive away) heard about it from a friend in Mt. Vernon who was driving to work and saw the fire. She contacted her mom about the fire before her mom even heard the sirens coming! That's how fast news travels in this day! Amazing!
