How to Be Busy in the Church

I finished my study of Ephesians and now I am starting Philippians. This is going to be good! I only studied the first eleven verses this morning and here is what I gleaned.

Verse 4 we should pray for our fellow church members

Verse 9 we should practice knowing the truth (real knowledge) and be discerning

Verse 10 we are to do what is in verse 9 so that we can know, discern and approve the things that are excellent in others so that your love toward them will abound

Verse 11 we are to be filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ---not the fruit of your own righteousness. The fruit of your own righteousness is ugly and seeks it's own way, and glory and praise while the fruit of righteousness which comes through Christ seeks the glory and praise of God.
