We just got back last night from a fun but short vacation to the Oregon Coast. Enjoyed some time with friends that we met there. Had fun at the Oregon Coast Aquarium and the Hatfield Marine Science Center. Then spent a short while on the beach. The kids had fun with friends from Tillamook who came down to Newport. We got to see friends in McMinnvile too.
We watched the weather reports and we expected rain the whole time we were there. God surprised us with the best weather ever! It rained very little, was cloudy and cool enough that the dog was comfortable in the car while we did sight seeing. We could not have asked for better.
It was just a really nice get away. I came home refreshed and ready to get to work on stuff around the house. I really needed this break.
