Psalm 23:5-6
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
It is interesting and comforting to think that the Lord's goodness is "pursuing" or "following" us. Rest assured, it is not following us because we are worthy of His goodness, but because He has chosen in His righteous zeal and jealousy to be in pursuit of us. God is jealous FOR us, not OF idols or whatever else competes for our worship. Living and walking with the Lord is a sacred romance. We are His bride (the church), and He is our bridegroom. Lord God, please create in our hearts an authentic desire to worship you, for you are Holy. To your name be the glory forever and ever, Amen.

But none of these things move me, (not knowing what shall befall me v. 23) neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. (Acts 20:24 KJV)
