Hebrews 8:11 "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."
This is a promise God gives His people. Do you ever find yourself rehearsing past sins that God has already forgiven you of? If you are a true adopted child of His, there is no need to bring up past sins and beat yourself up over them. God has said that He will not remember them any more. If God has put them out of His mind and they have been covered by the blood of Jesus, then there is no reason for us to dig them up and beat ourselves up for them.
