Titus 3:14 And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.
Here is what we should be doing in contrast to what was talked about back in Titus 3:9, yesterday. The ESV says we are to devote ourselves to good works. I like that rendering better, but it means the same as the NKJV above.
Instead of wrangling about controversial subjects that may not have any bearing on our walk with Christ or what the Bible says, we are to devote ourselves to good works, we are to meet the needs of those who have them and we are to be fruitful for God.
