Today nothing is happening. The contractor stopped by to touch bases with us at noon and check up on the work his men have done so far. He is happy with what he sees being done and told us if there is anything we are not happy with to just let him know.
The new floor is beautiful. I'm going to need to be careful though. It is slippery! I'm going to buy a couple of rubber backed throw rugs to go in there. That will help.
I am grateful for the break in construction today. I really needed a day of rest from it. My throat is sore and I am not feeling very well today. It's been a good day to sit on the couch with hot tea and do some writing for my blog. I put up at least ten short posts on what I am reading in my daily Quiet Time.
They will start banging around again tomorrow. Enjoying the quiet while I can.
