I read an article today in the Seattle Times. I was touched by how these people in Eygpt are fighting for their freedom against such terrible odds.
One man had a leg in a cast and was getting bandaged for other wounds he had received and he was planning to go right back out and fight some more.
Another man is a double amputee. He has no legs. He was getting bandaged for wounds he had received as well. When asked by the reporter why on earth, as a double amputee, he would go back out there to fight, he replied, "I still have two good arms and I am going to fight for my freedom."
A doctor, who himself is not in very good health, is volunteering his time to doctor the injured freedom fighters. He says he may not come out alive but he wants to do what he can to help save his country and gain the freedoms the people want.
Many of the people who are fighting for freedom are Coptic Christians. They have been targeted by the Islamic radicals for death. We need to pray for them, and we need to search our own hearts and be prepared here in our United States to stand up for our faith and our freedoms.
