Where has this year gone? What have I learned? How have I grown in my faith? What has God taught me? These are all questions I ask myself tonight as I wait for the New Year to come and listen to the early fireworks.
I would have to say that this year, once again, I have seen that God is faithful.
I've been reminded again that I can not find fulfillment in friends, family or other people. My fulfillment comes only from God.
I've been made aware this year of the fact that Christians are being persecuted for their faith all around the globe and they need my prayer.
I've also been made aware this year that persecution of Christians in our own nation happens and will happen to a more frequent degree as time goes on. Am I prepared?
I have been blessed to have two wonderful teens who love the Lord and are a joy to have around the house. God has been faithful.
God has blessed me with wonderful friends who challenge me in my spiritual growth and encourage me to grow.
God has taught me to rest in and rely on Him for my strength when I have none left of my own.
I could go on and on, but I am tired and my eyes are about to bug out of my head from being so tired....God is faithful.
