It dawned on me last night that if we were going to go visit my family over the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season I needed to get boarding reservations for my dog.
Alas. I am already too late! I called three different places and all of them were full already! I finally had to settle on a new one we've never tried before that costs $6 a day more than where we usually go. :-(
All totaled my lapse of memory will cost us $24 extra over both holidays combined. Ouch! I hope it won't happen again. I put reminders for three months in advance for next year in my Pocket PC.
Some people just live. Others live and learn. I hope I am the latter.
