1Co 7:17 Nevertheless, each one should retain the place in life that the Lord assigned to him and to which God has called him. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.
This is speaking of being married or unmarried, but I think it can equally be applied to whatever station in life God has put you. Whether married or unmarried, rich or poor, healthy or unhealthy...whatever circumstances God has you in at the moment find contentment there.
I'm not saying seeking to better your circumstances is wrong, just saying if God closes those doors then seek contentment where you are.
