Well, I am thinking perhaps I have stumbled upon a possible cause for a lot of my pain. Last week I was at physical therapy and Saker was having me give resistance as he gently put pressure on each of my fingers. They were collapsing, one after the other as I could not maintain resistance to his pressure. Then he began twisting my hands, wrists and elbows in different directions to see how far they would go. After a few minutes of this, and his receptionist looking on and remarking how amazing it was that he could twist my arm like that, he said, "You have loose joints."
I have been researching "loose joints" on the web. I've been learning that loose joints can cause one to have repeated ankle injuries, which I have. It can cause rib pain, which I have. It can cause shoulder pain which I get if I do too much physical activity like gardening, scrubbing, or vacuuming, and it can cause neck pain, which I get quite often.
Could loose joints be the root cause of many of my pain issues? It is certainly a possibility. It is something I plan to ask my physical therapist about.

Did you lean any thing about loose joints being an underlying cause of many of your problems?

No is the short answer. I would suppose Saker didn't want to "diagnose" me like that since diagnosing is not a PT's job. He has given up on me though & wants me to go back to my chiropractor since she was the referring dr. He says something more is going on besides tendonitis of the elbow. I agree. But getting answers doesn't seem to come easy. My dr already gave up on me. He says I'm one of his healthiest patients & he can't figure out why I have this pain. It doesn't add up. So several weeks ago he told me to just keep him posted on new symptoms & maybe some day it will all add up. I'm typing one handed so want to stay short.
