Dental Appointment

Six months ago I went to the dentist and he said I had decay under a filling on a tooth and I would need a crown on it. He also said the tooth next to it needed to have a crown. All this was going to be about $1000 out of pocket after insurance. But he said it wasn't crucial that it be done immediately. So I decided to wait.

Today I had my six month cleaning and check up. I was expecting that they would really be pushing me to get those crowns done soon now. To my surprise he nor the hygienist mentioned the decay or an urgency to get crowns done on those two teeth this time. I had an x-ray done and was sure they would point out the decay and tell me I needed to get an appointment set up. I hate having crowns done because 9 times out of 10, within a year or two they turn into root canals.

I decided if they aren't going to mention anything about it then neither am I. I didn't want to spend $1000 right now anyway and I HATE having dental work done. I HATE it with a purple passion!
