Automatic Flush Toilets

I was waiting for my teens at the park, while they had homeschool PE with a group of other home schooled teens, when I decided to go use the public restroom.

I went into one of the stalls and sat down on the commode. I was the only one in the restroom. All was quiet. Suddenly without warning, WHOOSH! I let out a scream and came up off the commode in a fit of adrenaline to discover the automatic toilet had decided to flush while I was on it. Of course I felt completely foolish and then began laughing at myself.

I finished up and walked out of the restroom. A mom and her toddler were walking away from the restroom. The mom looked at me with this strange look on her face like I was some sort of crazy lady.

Sometimes life is like that. Sometimes things just are not what it seems. Who knows what that lady thought was going on in the restroom? How often have we seen or heard one side a story, and made up the rest in our imagination without knowing the whole thing? We as Christians need to be careful that we aren't like that lady, avoiding the restroom because she only knows half the story of what is happening in there.
