It's not about freedom in the sense of legally. It's about freedom in the sense of teaching your kids to be self-learners and thus freeing you up to make use of your time in other ways. I read the condensed article versions in the magazine and it makes good sense. I am slowly working toward this end and am happy to report that I have made quit a bit of progress in getting my son to work independently. It's a great read. Enjoy!
