I love reading Paul's prayers. It challenges me as I pray for my fellow-believers. What do I pray for most? Temporal issues or spiritual issues? Paul focuses on the spiritual.

I find that when I focus on the spiritual, the other issues get worked out. Good to look at this passage with you! Blessings.
I appreciate your comments here. God is working things out with the health crises my parents have been through and my part coming up to take care of them at home for a few days. IT's been hectic getting ready to go...making sure everything at home is cared for...but you are right...caring for the spiritual must come first and the rest will fall into place. I have made an effort to be sure I don't neglect this area during this time when it would be so tempting to just rush on through my list of things to do before I leave and forget my Quiet Time.
Marsha,
I tend to have to force my way to quiet time through my day with all the family commotion and demands. Just little breaks for thought/prayer helps. I agree with the focus on the spiritual in prayer.
Am holding your family in God's Light.
