Marsha's Musings: Poor Puggy Dog

I hope by the time this gets posted that my poor puggy dog is feeling better. Her back seems to have gone out on her again. She is so, so sad when she hurts. Her face with its wrinkles looks sad anyway but when she hurts she hangs her head and all her wrinkles fall forward and make her look doubly sad.

I am making her stay in her crate to rest, feeding her 1/2 a baby aspirin, Meadowsweet for pain, Valerian Root for muscle relaxation, Vitamin C & Vit. E for anti-inflammatory. She has had this problem in the past several times. I am hoping we won't need to go for the cortisone again. Maybe I should give her the Curamin! I just don't know if it is safe for dogs.

I put up a ramp so she doesn't have to do stairs to go potty and we have blocked the stairs indoors so she can only be on the main floor.

I hope my poor puggy gets better soon.
