Follow up to Terrible Mom post
My kids got home around 11:15pm Sunday night. The youth leaders were kind enough to loan my son some money so he could get a hamburger. So he didn't have to go hungry. He had a super great time and was thrilled that we allowed him to go. Both kids were very happy and excited when they got home. No need for all my motherly worries and fretting. Seems like worry is like that...gives me something to do while I wait for the trouble that most of the time never comes! When will I learn?

I'm glad I am not the only worrier. Every time I send my kids on a scout outing or church thing I am a mess until I see them walking up to our front door. I feel like a nut and it does not get better the older they get. I just think the older they are the more serious stuff could be happening. I really need to work on letting go of that kind of fear. It is an energy sucker! Thanks for sharing your feelings!
I'm glad it turned out fine! :-)
Long time, no read! Thank you for stopping by. I keep forgetting that you live so close! So when you mention places like Silverwood on you blog, I'm always thinking, "Wow! That's near us!" Lol! :-)
