I added marshmallow to the traps and repositioned a couple of them in hope of catching my little varmint. But no luck. I heard him move around a little before I drifted to sleep at 10:30pm and then at 2:45am was awakened to constant tapping and scratching noises again. I decided since my daughter is gone to camp to just take my pillow and head to her room rather than lay there and be aggravated with the noise. Something has got to give here. I think I will pull the bed out from the wall and see what I can discover and position a trap under there today. I've never had anything quite so frustrating.
I've been sick with a sore throat and sinus stuff this week, so getting my sleep interrupted like this isn't helping my cause at all.
The baby mice we had on our patio all winter were cute to look at and I was glad to trap them and move them across the river, but we were never able to catch Mom and Dad mice. We removed all the sunflower heads and cleaned up the patio. So I think this is the revenge of the mice. I can't believe how smart the little buggars are. Makes me feel kind of dumb that the little varmints can outsmart me.
