Marsha's Musings: Help from my family

Being disabled with tendonitis and a locked up neck, keeps me from doing a lot of things I want to do around the house. So tonight I am thankful for my family....they all pitched in and helped clean up the patio and around the house in preparation for the painters to come tomorrow. When I saw what quick work we were able to make of it together, it made me realize that I just need to ask my family to help out more often. But it takes a bit of humility and courage to ask. I have always been a do-it-yourselfer because I don't like to hear the groans of my family when I ask them to do some dirty work. But tonight, everyone pitched in and was cheerful (the promise of ice cream bars maybe helped) and we got it done. I am so thankful for my family!!!
