We have little spiders! Sends shivers up my spine to look at them under the microscope. Just to give you an idea of how little they really are, take a look at this o. That is how big the eggs were when I first put them under the microscope. Now they are about this big O. So that gives you an idea of how magnified they are here. We are using National brand microscope that costs in the range of $250. We bought it a few years ago.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing this progression and maybe learned along with us how spider eggs develop.

I just found your comment asking me how to organize a speech club. I don't know if I will be any help. There is a wonderful woman in our area who has been teaching speech in our area for about 6 years, and my son has been involved for 4 years now. Check out www.ncfca.org for some info on competitive speech and debate.
PS. I'm going to be coming back to your blog, my hubby has chronic pain and I'm always wondering what to say to him. This past week it was almost unbearable for him.
Thanks for the suggestions. I will take a look at those resources you mentioned.
I am so sorry for your husband's pain. I know how it feels. Sometimes there really isn't anything you can say. Sometimes just having a friend or spouse be there to listen and pray is all that is needed. There are times when people try to give advice to me when I am having a flare up and it's really not helpful. More advice isn't what we need. Just someone to be there and care means more. People want to fix the trouble though and so they offer all kinds of advice and then if the person in pain doesn't act on it, they are made to feel like they really don't want to get well. It's kind of awkward. Just be there for him. You don't have to say anything but let him know you care.
