Homeschool: Starting Out Right Makes All The Difference

My last homeschool post, I talked about things not going well and evaluating where I had gone wrong. I am happy to report that school today went much better. Attitudes were good and all went very smoothly. Here's why I think we had a positive change today:

  • I made it a point to sit down and read my Bible and pray before we got much of anything under way today.

  • I made sure my son got his EFA Blend for Children supplement, his acidolphilus, vit. D and zinc. When I am negligent esp. with the EFA Blend I noticed marked behavior issues.

  • I tried to be more attentive to him and what he was doing in school.

  • I tried to make it a point to walk to him to talk to him about things rather than yell across the house.

I hope if you are having struggles in your homeschool that maybe something of my experience may help you!

Blessings! Marsha

Good advice. Thanks for popping in at my blog today. :^) We do seem to have quite a bit in common. It's nice to travel this road with friends.
