This is Compassion Blog Month. So I thought I would join the cause and encourage folks to sponsor a child. We have been sponsoring Melisa in Bolivia since she was about 5 years old and now she is 12, almost 13 years old. She is doing well, attending school and learning about Jesus. She writes to us regularly and it has been a joy to see her grow and change through the years. She is quite an artist and sends us pictures with each letter. Since my kids are quite artistic too, they really enjoy seeing her artwork. Sometimes my kids will include art work of their own to send to her. Sponsorship is a rewarding way to help a child.

I didn't know it's Compassion Blog Month! That's so cool! I've been wanting to do a post on the two kiddies we sponsor through Compassion International. Knowing that, I'll do one soon!
